The Winnetka Music Festival is pleased to welcome indie/alternative rock band GUSTER to the main stage as our 2022 headliner for our award winning music festival. This Boston based band, born in the mid nineties with eight outstanding studio albums to their credit, will deliver their unique sound - a mix of roots rock, folk, and experimental pop - to the fans in Winnetka this year. A band that “refuses to abide by industry pigeonholing”, GUSTER’s sound is recognized for its vocal harmonies and unique percussion.

Opening for GUSTER is the blues influenced American rock band The Record Company . A favorite at Bonnaroo Arts & Music Festival, Rolling Stone Country was prompted to name the trio’s set among the event’s “5 Best Country and Americana Moments” while declaring it “a wildly energetic show and one of the most communal experiences of the festival.

The festival kicks off on Saturday morning the 18th with music and interactive experiences for kids of all ages on the Family Stage. Then Saturday afternoon we shut down the streets and open them up to food, beer, wine and great music. In addition to the Main Stage, top emerging bands will be performing in the historic Winnetka Chapel on the Valslist Chapel Stage. This indoor setting has been the site of some exclusive intimate listening sessions. Also new this year we will be featuring local bands from the North Shore on our Local Stage.
