Holiday Tree Pickup
Christmas trees are picked up from the curbside for shredding, chipping, and composting during the first three weeks of January following the holiday season.

Leaf Collection
Each year, the Village performs its annual leaf collection program from mid-October to early December.

Paper Shredding Event
As a continuing program, the Solid Agency of Northern Cook Country (SWANCC) is providing a one-day document destruction event for residentially-generated paper, such as medical forms, bank statement, personal files, retired tax forms, etc.

Pumpkin Composting
In a continuing effort to expand environmental initiatives, the Village of Winnetka is hosting a one-day pumpkin collection.

Snow & Ice Control
The Public Works Department provides the critical services of snow and ice control throughout the winter months in Winnetka. They are committed to keeping the streets clear and traffic moving and strive to provide the most efficient and thorough snow removal possible so that drivers are safe traveling the streets.

Spring Clean-Up Week
The annual Spring Cleanup Program is a free service to residents provided by the Public Works Department.
